Summer Job in Social Services Support Activities

We are currently looking for summer substitutes for addiction care, HVB Bruksborg, and the Mobile Team.

Your New Job

As a summer substitute with us, you will have varied tasks that may include support and assistance with physical and mental health, employment, or accompanying clients on visits to various authorities. All work with clients is conducted in close collaboration with caseworkers and other actors who positively influence the client's change process. You will also work with documentation.

Bruksborg

Bruksborg is a municipal HVB home that works with a structured service content for men with addiction and dependency issues. Bruksborg offers accommodation in a safe and drug-free environment with supervision around the clock. There are 26 places available at Bruksborg with different placement categories such as investigation, support, motivation, and treatment. In addition to round-the-clock care, there is space for up to ten day care clients. We need 6 summer substitutes for our operations.

The Mobile Team

The mobile team works with assessed assistance efforts focusing on individuals, addiction, and dependency. The team serves men and women with addiction/dependency issues who have their own housing. The goal of the intervention is for the client to experience increased quality of life, develop their ability to live more independently, and gain better conditions to remain in their own home. The team operates from the service location on Slottsgatan in Jönköping. We need 5 summer substitutes for this operation.

Your Qualifications

• We are looking for someone who has ongoing or completed KY education with a focus on treatment, social work, social pedagogy, or similar education deemed suitable by the employer.
• We prefer that you have experience working with treatment, support, and motivation for young adults, adults, or families.
• A driver's license (B) is required.
• You must master the Swedish language in speech, reading, and writing as you will need to communicate with citizens and colleagues and be able to write and read notes in daily work.

You are a stable and trustworthy person who can provide respectful treatment to people, create good relationships, and easily collaborate with others. To thrive with us, you should be engaged, persistent, and curious about people's differences and not afraid to meet people in vulnerable situations. A common aspect of our operations is that we work from a holistic perspective where each individual's different needs are taken into account.

You will receive a good introduction to the work, which is meaningful, flexible, and above all, fun. You will work both independently and in a group with varied tasks and meet many wonderful people during your workday. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Meritorious

It is an advantage if you have training in and have worked with any of the following methods: ASI, CRA, ÅP, ESL, MI, HAP.

Good to Know

The recruitment concerns summer substitutes for the above-mentioned operations, HVB Bruksborg 4 positions, and the Mobile Team 4 positions. Your working hours are full-time or as agreed during daytime, evenings, both weekdays and weekends. We work with joint planning, which means that work with several citizens or in another unit may be relevant. Jönköping Municipality strives for full-time as the norm and always offers a 100% employment rate.

We prioritize applicants who can work the entire summer or a longer continuous period of at least 8 weeks. Our vacation periods are weeks 25-34.

In your application, please clearly state any previous experience and internships if you have them. For a smooth recruitment process, we also ask you to attach employer certificates and diplomas to your application. Interviews and selections are conducted on an ongoing basis.

Before employment, an extract must be provided from the National Police Board's criminal and suspicion register according to the provisions of the law (2007:171) on background checks at such homes for care or accommodation that receive children. Bring this unopened to an interview.
